Maden Bay
Maden Bay, whose name refers to ancient mining operations in the area, is a natural treasure surrounded by approximately 500 metres of beach and steep forested cliffs. The bay's most striking feature is its rare black sand-pebble beach. With no sun loungers, parasols, cafeteria or lifeguard, the 'real luxury' here is silence and untouched nature. Even at August peak, this bay doesn't see crowds; the most enjoyable way to arrive is by yacht from the sea. It is within walking distance of the ancient city of Olympos.
